I painted this painting under the influence of a great longing for my family home in Poland…for the rustling forest, for the singing of birds in the morning, for the view of the mountains, equally delightful every time, for the smell of flowers in my mother’s garden…

The entire painterly and imagined structure of the painting “Inspired by Nature” is subordinated to one purpose, the creation of a painting of a beautiful and at the same time mysterious nature. The energetic flowers with rich texture and colours are in the foreground. Everything else – mountains, trees, plants and sky with clouds is painted in subdued colours and the layers of paint are thinner, placed easily with a brush and a palette knife.
